Walla Walla Basin Watershed Strategy Open House

  • Water and Environment Center, Walla Walla Community College 640 Water Center Drive Walla Walla, Washington, 99362 United States (map)

In the Walla Walla River Basin, there is not always enough water available to meet the needs of our local communities, Tribes, farms, and aquatic ecosystems. The Walla Walla Basin Watershed Strategy (“Walla Walla 2050”) is a collaborative effort of people working together to meet the Basin’s growing water needs and provide water for healthy rivers, fish, farms, and people.

The Walla Walla 2050 collaborative invites you to join this annual Open House on Tuesday, October 27 from 4:30–7:30 PM (panel discussion and Q&A from 6:00 – 7:00 PM) at the Water & Environmental Center at the Walla Walla Community College, 640 Water Center Drive. Come learn about what Walla Walla Water 2050 and the many partner organizations are doing to address issues in the Basin! The evening will include a panel discussion, interactive stations, and plenty of time to connect with others who care about the future of the Walla Walla Basin.

Enjoy family-friendly activities, along with free snacks and beverages provided throughout the evening. For more info, including presentation topics and schedule, visit wallawallawater.org.
