This free family-friendly community event celebrates the return of salmon to the Walla Walla Basin each year. The annual event is coordinated jointly by the Water & Environmental Center and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in order to provide a glimpse into our region’s rich cultural and natural resource driven history.
Activities include:
Salmon releases into Mill Creek (12pm and 1:30pm)
Lamprey & native fish on display
Stream tables, beaver dam displays, macroinvertebrates, groundwater models, fish printing, & other fun hands-on activities!
The Wild Thyme food truck will be on site with kid’s options!
